Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24, 1981) is an American political commentator. She was a former political hopeful, as a host of American television at MSNBC as well as a regular contributor to The Huffington Post, former co-host and host of The Hill's Rising along with Saagarenjeti. Enjeti and Ball announced in May 2021 that they'd leave the show to begin their own venture, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends' podcast alongside Kyle Kulinski. She has appeared as a guest on networks like CNN, CNBC, Fox News as well as programs like Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball is currently married to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball attributes her continued fascination with politics to her experience as a new mother during the primaries of 2008. She also followed the US presidential election from Jordan when she was working in Jordan. She was able see the effect it affected the people of her country and developed an appreciation of the global influence of US politics. She was a senior fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's nominee for Congress in Virginia’s 1st congressional District in 2010. She was defeated by Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. From June 2012 until July 2015, she hosted of The Cycle on MSNBC. She launched the People's House Project in May 2017 to promote Democratic causes.
