Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki, an American political advisor, was the 34th White House Press Secretary from 2021 to 2022. She is a member of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009) as well as the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011) as well as the spokesperson for the US Department of State (2013-15) and the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was an CNN political contributor from 2017 until 2020. Psaki started her professional career with an Iowa Democratic senator, Tom Harkin, and then became the governor of Iowa. Psaki was later appointed the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's campaign for president in 2004. Psaki worked from 2005 to 2006 as communications director to Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, as well as as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki returned in 2012 for political communications serving as the press secretary of President Obama’s 2012 election campaign. 20 years ago, Psaki became the spokesperson for United States Department of State. [20] Her hiring in the Department of State fueled speculation that she would succeed White House Press Secretary Jay Carney as he left for the White House,[21] but, on May 30 the 30th of May, 2014 it was announced Josh Earnest would replace Carney. She was appointed Communications Director at the White House and continued to do so until the end of 2015.
